Bar Furniture: Making the Right Choice for Your Business Part 2

Bar stools are some of the most common furniture you see inside a bar. And since finding the right kind of bar furniture can make or break a bar business, it is of utmost importance that you are able to find barstools that will blend magnificently to the overall theme of your establishment.

In purchasing bar stools, it is recommended that you measure how high your bar counter is before you go shopping. A bar usually measures 40-42 inch high. A stool standing 28-30 inch high will be ideal for the usual kind of bar.

Another consideration when buying bar stools is the material used. There is a wide selection of bar stools made of different materials. But if you're looking for durability, those with bases made of metal or wood are what you should go for. The fabric on the other hand can be made of leather, vinyl or micro fiber, all of these can protect your stool from food or beverage spills.

Aside from taking into account the durability of the material, it's also best that you choose materials that blend well with the overall style of the bar. For instance, wooden bar stools will go better with a bar that exemplifies a classic traditional feel while metal and leather is more suitable for a bar with a contemporary style.

Also you have to think about what particular features you want your bar stool to have. Some of the most common features include armrests, footrests, backrests, swivel seats and adjustable seats. You can choose one or a combination of these features.

Keep these tips in mind when shopping for bar stools but of course don't forget to have fun.
